I have been creating mentorship programs and pouring into the lives of children and families for over 30 years as a Professional School Counselor. I have a BBA from Howard University and M.A. Ed & HD from the GW University.
I started my career as an Elementary School Counselor in D.C. I have been a counselor in CCPS for 24 years. I have coordinated annual boys and girls conferences, developed peer mediation and mentorship programs, parenting workshops and implemented dynamic Career Day programs for students.
I am Founder of Youth EmpowerMe Foundation, Inc. and the creator of the EmpowerHer EmpowerMe Mother Daughter Summit (EHEM) .The 5th Annual EHEM Summit was held at the College of Southern Maryland, LaPlata Campus on Saturday, April 12, 2025.
