The world moves fast. To confront pressing real-world problems, our solutions have to move faster.

Apply your skills, insight, and creative problem-solving to complex issues facing Southern Maryland and beyond in the Velocity X: Community Innovation Hackathon, presented by the College of Southern Maryland (CSM) May 19-20.

Join professionals and community members from Southern Maryland and beyond to compete in three distinct challenges and win cash prizes from a $12,000 pot!

You don’t need to be a hacker to participate; the Velocity X Community Innovation Hackathon is open to anyone with an interest in developing approaches to complex issues, and we welcome problem-solvers from a diverse array of backgrounds and disciplines.

Register your team or join an existing group, and participate virtually or at CSM’s Velocity Center at Indian Head. It’s free to sign up, but act fast: The deadline to register is May 15.
