Charles County Economic Development Fall Meeting

The Charles County Economic Development Department (EDD) invites you and your colleagues to join us at our annual Fall Meeting takes place online, Tuesday, November 10th, from 8:30 a.m. to noon. Our program, “Building a New and Better Normal” will focus on the challenges and opportunities ahead as businesses and community leaders collaborate to recover from the economic impacts of the COVID crisis.  
 
Anirban Basu, Chairman and CEO of Sage Policy Group, Inc. returns this year as our keynote speaker.  Always a favorite for his insight and wit, Mr. Basu will present his economic review and outlook with a special focus on Charles County. Jay Garner of Garner Economics, developer of the county's five-year economic development strategic plan, will report on his “2020 Pivot Plan” for Charles County, including recommendations for leveraging new trends in business locations resulting from the crisis.  And a panel of business owners and experts will share their thoughts on “The Future of Normal” including innovation, flexibility, and embracing change.
